Last year, my cousin’s husband passed away. Several months later, she contacted me to hire me to make a quilt for each one of her five children out of her husband’s shirts. He fluctuated in weight, so he had over 45 dress shirts, and my cousin sent them all to me.
Here are the three quilts I have finished so far:
This quilt was made of the dad’s shirts, plus a new light grey fabric. You can see that he had many colors, stripes, and windowpane checks.
Brian asked me to add dark grey to his quilt.
Kaylissa’s quilt includes both grey fabrics leftover from Mac’s and Brian’s quilts, and new red fabric.
