For the past couple of years, I have been working slowly to make quilts for my cousin’s children. My cousin hired me to make quilts for each of her five children after her husband died. She sent me about 50 of his dress shirts, and I cut them up and created four quilts made of half-square triangles, and this one made of diamonds.
I finally got this quilt top done last September while my husband and I were staying at a condo in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. It was great to sew all day every day while my husband was out and about, looking at classic cars.
